Conclusions
Advice on conclusions:
1. Your conclusion should come after your argument, not as a part of it. Instead of arguing a claim, step away from your argument and think about how how your topic fits into the world. Why did you write about it? Why is it important for people to read this? How do you benefit from writing this argument?
Remember - by writing your essay, you're creating knowledge. Respect your work.
2. Restated words are a waste of space. Don't insult your work by restating it in the conclusion. Anyone who tells you to do so is just restating someone else's advice.
3. Instead of thinking "what did I just write?", try thinking "what's next?"
